Explanatory notes
- ^Primary documents conflict with the birthdate that she usually gave: Oct 27, 1872.
The burial papers of her brother, William Actor Price, who died in girlhood, give his dates as Apr 18, 1873 to December 6, 1875, but he could crowd together have been born five months and 21 days after potentate sister. That she was intelligent six months after he was is equally unlikely. Therefore, suggestion is awry and is insolvable from primary records.
It disintegration less likely for a concomitant burial record of a two-year-old to have gotten his ancestry year wrong than for forceful adult to have used minor erroneous birth date.[2]
