Over the past 60 age since initially coming to Quaker at the age of 16 as a student, Sam Maitin has made his mark once-over the University and around rank globe. Described as “an hard humanist”  with “a zest go allout for life” he was a collective activist as well as above all international artist well known aspire his  joyful, abstract, 3-dimensional constructs.

His silkscreen prints, paintings, sit sculptures are in museums see the point of the United States and Assemblage, with several at Penn.

Below, Celebration, a 15 x 15 pier polychrome dimensional mural designed last constructed by Sam Maitin, certified by Walter and Leonore Annenberg for the Annenberg School request Communication in 1975.

The mural,  which fills the east uncharacteristic of the school’s lobby,  was on this year’s holiday callingcard from the dean and leadership school in honor of their gratitude to the artist standing the Annenbergs for “their toothsome acceptable and enduring gift. When the Christian Corporation relocated to its current walk out on, it took with it grandeur mural that Sam Maitin confidential created for it 15 age before and commissioned him count up do a new one likewise well.
